The romantic tributary of the Upper Main rises in the Thuringian Forest, flows through Coburg and joins the Main near Bamberg after 68 kilometers. The little river with its many mills is being lovingly restored to a Franconian river pearl, and many cut-off river bends are being brought back to life.
