The route described begins with a circumnavigation of Lake Tollensesee by water and/or on land and an exploration of Neubrandenburg. The route then follows the Tollense, mostly lonely and far from the few villages, in 3 stages to its mouth in the Peene in Demmin.

What should I bear in mind when paddling on the Tollense and Lake tour?
