The Mangfall is the outflow of Lake Tegernsee. The pre-Alpine river flows in a large loop through a varied moraine landscape and flows into the Inn near Rosenheim after a distance of 58 kilometers. Since 1988, however, the water has been increasingly renaturalized and offers a lively, varied paddling experience, especially when the water level is high.
