The Lower Spreewald is less well-known and also smaller than the Upper Spreewald, but here too, according to legend, the grass snake brings good luck. The central town is Schlepzig. A farm and customs museum has been set up here on an old farm. Lübben lies between the two "Spree forests". The Spree arms offer the best views of the Spree lagoon, the castle and castle island as well as the town wall. 2 separate paddling tours are presented.
